I remembered someone mention that the radiator over flow bottle was brass. I scraped off some of the paint and there is was. Looked worse than before with some of the paint scraped off so I decided to get after it a bit and do some polish work. Didn't get too deep into it but made quite a difference. The solder joints were a little sloppy but who cares if you're going to paint it, right?
